East African musicians should praise themselves for yet another brilliant collaboration. This week, Kenya’s finest met Tanzania’s hottest when Khaligraph Jones featured Rayvanny on his tasty music video for a new track titled, “Chali Ya Ghetto”
We’ve had a loose translation of the title and apparently it means “Child of the Ghetto”. If you know Khaligraph Jones’ story, you’ll remember that he’s always stayed in touch with his hood roots while reminding people that the life of fame hasn’t changed him.
Capital FM from Kenya have described the video in a release:
“The life of a drug dealer making ends meet where deals gone bad are the order of the day. “Chali ya Ghetto” is a good listen that any hip-hop head can appreciate. This track may redeemed Khali from the skin bleaching debacle that saw him the center of negative media attention.”
