West Bromwich Albion FC coaches, Bird Josh and Jones Mitchell Mark were received at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja Lagos early hours of Monday, ahead of Oyo State Talent Identification
& Coach Education Clinic.

The UEFA ‘B’ license coaches that are both doubled as recruitment managers for West Bromwich Albion while speaking with the sporting press on their arrival expressed delight to be in Nigeria, “a black
nation that is reputed for abundant football talents”.

The event according to the organiser is in actualization of the pledge made by the government of Oyo State under the leadership of Engr. Seyi Makinde to create opportunities outside academics for the teeming
youths to realize their dream.

Oyo State Talent Identification & Coach Education Clinic was designed to give opportunity to over 500 talented footballers across Oyo State to be identified by scouts free of charge, while few ones picked will
further their career at enabling programs with West Bromwich Albion FC in England later in the year.

The event which is expected to commenced today at the main bowl of Lekan Salami Sports Complex Ibadan, will end on Saturday 11th January, 2020 where 16 exceptional players from the camp will be announced.
Successful players will earn an all expenses paid trip to attend a 4weeks residential camp with West Bromwich Albion FC in England.

Members of Oyo State Coaches Association would also get oppotunuty to be tutored in the Coach education clinic which will be handled by England FA Instructor and UEFA badge coaches from West Brom, while
every successful participants at the workshop will be licensed.

The commissioner for Youths and Sports, Seun Fakorede whose ministry is working with Bestowed Grace Football Academy to actualized the one week Football Development Programme has assured of his readiness to host the British coaches and hold an itch-free event.

“Our governor is a lover of sport and everything that can enhance and create wide spectrum for the realization of the dreams of the teeming youths in Oyo State, he has been demonstrating this since he assumed
office, as we can all noticed this with the good funding of the two state owned club side, 3SC and Crown FC”, Seun Fakorede noted.
