Bankers/Tech Experts meet in Doha  to Brainstorm

In order to address challenges facing the global banking sector ,nearly 200 leading bankers and technology speakers are meeting  in Doha,Qatar,today,February 12th,to discuss challenges and devise comprehensive strategies to negotiate the ever-changing banking ecosystem.

This was contained in a recent Press Release issued in Doha,by the Organizers of the 13th edition of the New Age Banking Summit(NABS), BusinessLive ME.

NABS 2020,a day long event, is  a leading platform for the banking and Fintech sector in the Middle East supported by a host of prestigious sponsors.

The Bronze Sponsors the release disclosed,are – Software AG and Network Sponsor – Comviva, A Tech Mahindra Company. Other Sponsors include QIIB, Doha Bank, Al Khaliji, Capital Banking Solution, Turkish Airlines. US Qatar Business Council is on board as Associate Partner.

The event  the Release said, will look at a range of topical issues like the future of lending in Qatar, the likely implementation of VAT and its navigational challenges.

There will  be a number of panel discussions and presentations on crucial developments in the banking sector in Qatar and the Middle East pertaining to credit quality, financial markets, regulatory cooperation, RegTech, Fintech, Blockchain, cybersecurity, AI, Islamic finance and anti-money laundering efforts.
