Oyo APC Guber Primary: Ajanaku Congratulates Adelabu,Commends Ajimobi

A leading aspirant into the House of Representatives,Ibadan Southwest/Northwest Federal Constituency on the platform of All Progressives Congress(APC), Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku has joined other party faithful to felicitate with the governorship candidate of the party in the next general elections, Chief Bayo Adelabu who emerged winner at the primary election held today at Lekan Salami Sport Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan.

Ajanaku noted that Adelabu’s candidacy is a boost to the party in the state; adding that his popularity will in no doubt fortify APC.

Adelabu emergence came as the last man standing, Chief Niyi Akintola also pulled out of the race joining other aspirants. Also former Governor Adebayo Alao Akala and immediate past Commissioner for Health, Dr. Azeez Adeduntan withdrew from the race.

At the venue, three other aspirants: Olasunkanmi Tegbe, Dr. Owolabi Babalola and Dr. Ayandele Olusola a.k.a Eruobodo pulled out of the race.

Meanwhile Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku has extolled the exemplary leadership style of Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi in handling the party primaries.

Otunba Ajanaku gave this commendation shortly after the governorship primary. He remarked that despite the fear of bias raised in some quarters, the governor has written his name in gold by giving every aspirant a level-playing ground.

The governorship candidate, Chief Adebayo Abdul Waheed Adelabu is a grandson of Alhaji Adegoke Adelabu’Penkelemesi’, an Ibadan front-line politician in the 50s.
